Good light for sureFeb 16, 2010
I love it except for the fact that the switch to control the blue/red light has become very finicky and works about 1 in 20 times I try to press it.

I was looking for an LED flashlight that was a bit bigger than those little ten dollar throw-aways you see at Home Depot, but not quite one of those full on tactical flashlights that run for $100 or more. This flashlight is bright enough for anything you would need it for, small enough to fit in a bag or on a belt, and lasts for hours. I liked the options of the colored LED's, although realistically I don't use them very often. Basically, this flashlight does everything I want it to, the construction is top notch, and it's cheap. I'm happy.

I read the reviews on this before I bought mine. One person said they had a problem with the switch. I have had no such problems with either switch on mine. The 4 red leds are great for night vision and the blue works well also. The light is bright and everyone I have shown it too was impressed with it too. The 18 main leds produce a good amount of light and I use the flashlight often. The carrying pouch is handy also and has a place at the bottom for 3 AAA spare batteries. I highly recommend this light.

I have use it only a couple of times but i can honestly say it is worth more that what it cost. great product

It is a good product a bit pricey thought I'd buy it for night flying to read maps and charts the white lights are not very focused red and blue do the job of maintaining night vision. but wish it has a lanyard or clip to hand it around the neck Smith & Wesson Galaxy 28 LED Flashlight (20 White, 4 Red & 4 Blue LEDs)
